The Unveiled Beauty: Design and Aesthetics
VOTED THE UK’S BEST ACOUSTIC GUITAR 2013
The Faith Naked Venus FKV is visually captivating, boasting an elegant and minimalist design. As part of Faith Guitar’s Naked series, the FKV is stripped down to its bare essentials, exposing the natural beauty of the tonewoods used in its construction. With a choice of tonewood combinations for the top, back, and sides, this guitar offers a harmonious blend of form and function. We’ll delve into the various tonewood options and their impact on the guitar’s tone and aesthetics.
The Spruce top and Mahogany body of each of the Faith Naked instruments is 100% solid tonewood – in keeping with all other Faith series. However, the cosmetics and non-essential dressing has been stripped away, leaving the guitars in their natural, Naked state. Satin finished all over, the tonewood is almost entirely unrestricted in its resonant movement, so the tone delivered is far beyond what is normally expected at this price level. Superior Sound: Tonewoods and Construction
A crucial aspect of any acoustic guitar is the selection of tonewoods and how they are masterfully combined. We’ll examine the tonal characteristics of popular tonewood choices, such as solid Sitka spruce, solid Engelmann spruce, mahogany, and more. Additionally, we’ll explore the importance of the guitar’s construction techniques, including the scalloped bracing system, and how these factors contribute to the FKV’s impressive sound projection and resonance.
