Description
General
Also known as an Irish flute, the Generation Flageolet 6588 tin whistle has been tuned in G and made from brass, giving it its copper-colour and a slightly warmer response and sound than nickel versions. While you can easily play melodies in G-major or C-major with ease with the six finger-holes of this whistle, with the right technique and a little practice, it can be used to play in any key. But, if you’re a complete beginner, it can be easier to use a whistle that’s been tuned in the right key.
Generation Tin Whistles
While it’s traditionally played in Scottish and Irish folk music, the tin whistle can now be heard in an endless range of genres, from film soundtracks to pop music. Generation are popular among professional whistle players as well as beginners and are known for producing instruments that shape a clear, traditional sound.
