Winterleaf is an exciting new series from the Tanglewood design team. Created to meet the demands of the modern player, every Winterleaf guitar offers outstanding value with the highest standards of build quality and component features as standard.
The TW4 BLW is an electroacoustic guitar of the “Super Folk” type, i.e. an instrument with a narrower and shallower body than, for example, the Dreadnought. The front of the guitar is made of solid mahogany, the back and sides of laminated mahogany. Twenty-one frets and position dots divide the composite fingerboard surface. A convenient lower body cutout makes it easy to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement options include the company’s TW Premium Plus preamp with four-band EQ, Phase function and integrated tuner. The strings are held in Grover’s chrome die-cast chassis and composite headstock via NuBone zero and saddle frets. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the double-sided bright body binding and Whitsunday White Gloss body finish.
