Tanglewood Tiare Concert Ukulele Electro Acoustic Natural Satin

The Tanglewood Tiare TWT12E is a versatile concert ukulele designed for players who want both tonal richness and stage-ready performance. With its stylish cutaway body and onboard electronics, the TWT12E combines traditional craftsmanship with modern practicality, making it equally suited for practice, studio sessions, and live performance.

Crafted entirely from Ovangkol, the TWT12E offers a distinctive tonal palette. Ovangkol is valued for its ability to deliver a warm, rounded sound with clear top-end sparkle, giving the ukulele a voice that is both balanced and expressive. The concert body size provides excellent projection and tonal depth, while Aquila Nylgut strings enhance clarity and sustain, ensuring the instrument responds beautifully to both strumming and fingerstyle playing.

For performers, the addition of Tanglewood’s TEQ-TUT electronics makes the TWT12E a reliable partner on stage. The pickup system captures the ukulele’s natural tone with accuracy, allowing it to cut through in amplified settings while maintaining its organic character. The cutaway design also provides easy access to higher frets, opening up greater possibilities for melodic exploration and soloing.

Visually, the TWT12E maintains an understated elegance. The natural satin finish showcases the attractive grain of the Ovangkol, while the laser-cut Tiare rosette adds a subtle touch of refinement. Chrome die-cast tuners ensure precise, stable tuning, and the smooth mahogany neck with its Eboncore fingerboard offers comfortable playability across the concert scale.

Combining warm, articulate tonewoods with professional-grade electronics, the TWT12E is built for musicians who need versatility without compromising on style or sound. Whether you’re playing acoustically at home or amplified on stage, this ukulele delivers an inspiring and dependable performance.
